PDF

PDF stands for "Portable Document Format".

The documents on the left are all saved as PDFs.

This means that they will open and look the the same irrespective of what computer you have, which operating system you use (Windows, MacOS or Unix) and whether you have the correct type faces/fonts or not.

If you don't have Adobe Acrobat Reader (the programme that reads PDFs) you can download the latest free version direct from Adobe.
